Honest Lawyer Peninsular Course Description

Strava segment & leader board here.
Strava Route Map here

Start your watch and jog from home to the Honest Lawyer.

Increase your tempo and the segment starts on the footpath opposite the Palm tree on Point Rd near the Honest Lawyer.
Head down Point Rd toward the Peninsula. Stay on the footpath, do not run/walk on the road here. At the Martin St intersection, stay left and continue down Point Rd.
Continue onto the sandy beach and go around behind the cone. Exit the beach on the left-hand side and continue down Point Rd past Rainier St.
Half way between Rainer St and the boat ramp, cross over the righthand side when it is safe to do so.
Continue around the peninsula on the inside of the road and stay on the righthand side of the road all the way along Martin St, past Rainier St, until you complete the 1st loop and you come back onto Point Rd outside the boat club.
Turn right here and stay on the righthand side of Point Rd as you commence your 2nd loop.
Continue onto the sandy beach and go around behind the cone. Exit the beach on the righthand side this time and turn right into Rainier St and stay on the righthand side.
At the end of Rainier St, turn right into Martin St and head back up Martin St on the righthand side as before. You will complete your 2nd loop when you arrive back at Point Rd outside the boat club.
Turn right here for a 2nd time and stay on the righthand side of Point Rd until you come to the turnaround point outside number 72 Point Rd marked by a lamp post.
Cross Point Rd here when it is safe to do so and head back up Point Rd on the righthand side.
Continue onto the footpath at the Martin St intersection and stay on the footpath as you return to the starting point opposite the palm tree.
Now keep on jogging to your destination and then stop your watch.

Be extra vigilant at road crossing points and only cross when the way is clear of traffic.
Always use a footpath when available, otherwise stay within 1m of the edge of the road.
Be respectful of other pedestrians and cyclists and leave them room to pass, especially on shared pathways.
