Upcoming Events

From 3rd December Waimea Harriers will be running "Vaccine Pass Only" events. To avoid the congestion at our first event under the new rules on 8th December, we ask all competitors to get the ball rolling by either emailing a screenshot or pdf of your pass to which is open now. All Under 12's are welcome.

Your "vaccine pass status" will be kept securely and only used to ascertain your status for our events. Any emails will be deleted after verification.

The course is the Vortex Course, starting and finishing across Queen St by the Croquet Club, a couple of minutes walk from Club Waimea.

We have four very different courses exploring the local area, all suitable for children.

The cost remains at $3 for adults, with all children and youth students free.

Registration in the Club Waimea carpark opens at 5.20pm and closes at 6pm.

Please register for our Webscorer timing system online before 4pm on Wednesday or check your category/number before you arrive.

Race briefing for walkers will be at the start line at 6.05pm. The briefing for runners will be at 6.05pm in the registration area.

At registration you will be given a small diamond with your webscorer number on it, so you can pin this to your singlet EACH WEEK. This is to save confusion between the Honest Lawyer numbering system and the webscorer numbers we are using, and to avoid the errors with people forgetting their numbers.

The restaurant at Club Waimea is opening for us after the run!

Please put your order in early as the restaurant closes for orders at 7.30pm (eftpos card or cash in the restaurant).


Our registration people will sign EVERYONE in.

A Covid QR code will be available for scanning in the registration area.

Observe physical distancing before and after the run as much as possible.

We ask you to wear a mask in the registration area to protect our volunteers.

As we are using "My Vaccine Pass" under "Orange" we can now allow unlimited participants.


Our event sign-in sheets are being used for the Club sign-in as all non-CW Members are required to be signed in.

At present: Scan QR code or sign sheet and wear masks until Seated. Rules likely to change.

The bar takes Cash, Eftpos Cards, Credit Cards BUT cannot get cash out.

Restaurant takes Cash or Eftpos but no credit card.

Restaurant Closes for food orders at 7.30pm

Beer Jugs/Pints /Glasses are found in the fridge as you enter the bar.

Please return your used glasses to the bar.
