Waimea Harrier events cater for people of all abilities, including competitive runners and walkers, families looking for an outdoor activity they can enjoy together, and social runners and walkers of all ages.

Individual adult membership is $40.
Joint/Couple/Family membership is $60.
Single adult & child/children is $40.
Schoolchildren and youth students are Free.

By popular demand - continued for Wednesdays in Winter
Wednesday Social Runs/Walks From Club Waimea
Wednesdays 5:30pm in Winter 2026
A group of keen runners and walkers will be meeting in the Club Waimea carpark at 5:30pm on Wednesdays in Winter for a relaxed social run or walk around the Meadows/Berryfields area. Various paces offered. We’ll head out for around 45 minutes, then gather afterwards at Club Waimea for a drink and a chat.
If there is enough interest, these events will continue through winter. You will need a light/torch for when it gets dark and bright reflective clothing is also a good idea so that cyclists can see you.
Everyone is welcome. There’s no fee, no official timing and no race numbers.

Motueka Sprig+Fern 10k

The Waimea Harriers Sprig+Fern 10km fun run and walk at Motueka on Saturday 26 September 2026 is the last of four 10km events in Nelson Tasman 2026.
Meet in Thorp Bush park, Woodlands Rd entrance.

Check-in opens at 1.20pm and closes at 2pm promptly.
Briefing 2pm.
Early/Casual Walkers (slower than 90mins) start: 1:45pm
Fast Walkers & slower runners (between 70 and 90minutes) start: 2:10pm
Main running group (faster than 70mins) start: 2:30pm

There is a $10 entry fee per event; it's free for school children and youth students, and for Waimea Harriers members.
