Calendar Winter 2026

The 2026 Winter Season

Over the Winter there are organised events on most Saturday afternoons at 2:30pm. All events are open to the public and everyone is welcome. Most events are free entry whilst others have a small charge. Always check on the website, Facebook and in the newsletter (on the website home page) each week for the most up-to-date information.

Events in BOLD are Waimea Harriers organised events.

(AN) = Athletics Nelson organised event.

(A4G) = Active4Good organised event.

(AR) = Athletics Richmond organised event.

(TA) = Tākaka Athletics organised event.

(RWM) = Run Walk Marlborough organised event.

(MA) = Marlborough Athletics organised event.

There are weekly group training runs on Tuesday - see bottom of page and occasional Thursday & Sunday morning long training runs - keep your eye on Facebook for more info. If you are a Walker - visit the Walkers page.

Athletics Nelson organise a Wednesday evening 5k series in the months of April, July & October (entry fee).

Tuesday all year round it's the Frontrunner Richmond pack/training run.

6pm from the Richmond Mall Store/Entrance. Free entry.

A different pack run each week.
